System Administrator job in Baltimore, MD We are immediate need of a Systems Analyst to work closely with the managed print services department to configure, implement, and maintain approx.
6,000 printers in the company's environment.
This person would be responsible for assisting the print management team with configuring new Xerox and HP printers for general employee use, and maintaining printers currently in use by troubleshooting problem tickets.
Strong knowledge of DHCP/DNS, IP configurations, print server builds, print drivers, specific printer setting preferences such as:
Scan-to-email, Mobile Print, Scan-to-folder configurations on Xerox and HP printers is required.
Position requires strong troubleshooting skills of hardware and software printer issues.
Job requires occasional picking up of printers, moving printers, and moving print supplies such as toner.
We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of Windows 7 OS, 2008R2 virtual servers, and Xerox/HP printer models.
General knowledge in wide-format printing (Oce, Kip) is also a plus.

This individual must have the ability to access work home, and be part of the on-call rotation once a month to work nights and weekends.
Job Assignment / Duties:
o Ability to configure Xerox, HP and Wide-Format printers to work in Win 7 environment utilizing acquired skills and knowledge.
o Ability to technically address users with complex printing problems by troubleshooting and resolving printer issues quickly meeting SLA requirements o Troubleshoots hardware, software, and network operating problems and ensures resolution within SLA requirements.
(Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting skills required) o Order toner supplies, and other printer hardware parts for printers through Xerox help desk o Manage, schedule and oversee printer moves, adds and changes o Ability to pick up and move printers and printer supplies such as toner up to 50 lbs o Work with Xerox Sales representative to order and manage new printers for print environment o Ability to use mobile devices efficiently (Android, iPhone) to view and respond to company email o Responsible for completing tasks on time and within budget o Works closely with team members to ensure jobs are completed o Briefs customers and/or management on the status of resolution efforts o Ability to work well with others, positive workplace attitude o All other duties as assigned Skill Requirements:
o Technical knowledge in Xerox & HP printer models and ability to configure printers to work in Win 7 environment o Technical knowledge in software and hardware of Oce, Kip and other Wide-Format Printers o General knowledge in Service Manager ticketing system to managed incident tickets o Knowledge of HP and Xerox printers, printer settings, and general troubleshooting of hardware and software issues, including print drivers, print queues, and print server settings o Knowledge in Scan-to-email, adding folders to printers, wireless, and secure print functions o Knowledge in networking (DHCP/DNS, SMTP, 2008R2 virtual print servers) o Ability to work within databases to produce monthly reporting and project status o Recommends system and/or process improvements, including updating procedures, training, and enhanced documentation o Highly reliable and organized with strong attention to detail o Ability to learn quickly and a willingness to put in an extra effort to do so o Strong communication skills and active listening skills o Strong team work ethic - willing to jump in and assist others o Willingness to work extra hours to meet critical deadlines Education:
