Description
Corporate IT ECM department is responsible for the delivery, management and governance of enterprise content management solutions and SPE intranet portal across Sony Pictures Entertainment. ECM supports enterprise users' content management needs with state of the art technologies including Alfresco and SharePoint. ECM currently has 4000 users globally with over 17 million documents (and growing).
ECM interns will be involved in the assistance and support of various projects.
Design and implementation of new projects or enhancements to SharePoint
End user customer service and support
Redesign of SPE intranet portal initiative
Business social planning and strategy and administrative tasks
SharePoint training and education
Opportunity to interact with key stakeholders from various departments / LOB such as InfoSec, Records & Info Management, Corporate Communication, P&O, ADM, etc.
Work closely with BRM and ADM throughout the project life cycle
Hands on experience and education through working with SPE's ECM technologies
Exposure to entertainment business and gain industry specific knowledge
Opportunity to interact with key stakeholders from various departments / LOB such as InfoSec, Records & Info Management, Corporate Communication, P&O, ADM, etc.
Hands on experience and education through working with SPE's latest ECM technologies
Exposure to entertainment business and gain industry specific knowledge
Greater awareness and understanding of the Sony brand and business values
Qualifications
Successful candidates should be in good academic standing and possess a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in technology.
Strong analytical, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Must be detail oriented and organized to perform efficiently
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and professionalism
