Retail Auditor

The Auditor's job is to help detect and control retail inventory shrink and the subsequent loss of profit for the Company. The Auditor will be loyal to the Company and will perform his/her job to the best of their ability every day. Exceptions will be reported to the Director of Operations and District Supervisor immediately. It is the Auditor's job to report any activity that is costing the Company money or anything they know is against Handy Mart policy.
The profitability of the stores is what keeps us in business and ensures continued job security for everyone. The Auditor is in a unique position to see things that happen in the stores that would otherwise go unnoticed. This information can be used to improve store operations in all areas.
Requirements:
Must be able to speak, write and read English sufficient to perform designated duties.
Knowledge of math functions beyond those required by simple math. Store reports require basic accounting knowledge.
Able to work any hours that is deemed necessary to complete designated duties.
Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured. Motor Vehicle Reports will be obtained for newly hired employees and reviewed annually or as warranted and must not contain convictions for serious traffic violations.
Have sufficient vision or corrected vision to be able to drive and to check store reports and all other paperwork.
Be willing to attend any seminars that are deemed necessary to further your education.
Must be able to travel between locations.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
