Receiving Manager

We currently have an opening for a Receiving Manager who will be responsible for the management of the Receiving Department. You will oversee fleet dispatch, deliveries, will-calls, sub rentals and transportation. This position includes but is not limited to process development, implementation and consistent training to meet performance goals. You will interact with multiple department managers as well as production, administration, the sales team and field operations crew members.
Responsibilities:
o Ensure all inventory and equipment is properly off-loaded from returning event orders;
o Manages off-loading of all equipment from fleet vehicles;
o Oversees in-bound shipping packages and assures accurate, appropriate distribution and log;
o Establish, implement and manage all inbound receivable items, procedures and logs;
o Create clear and manageable standard operating procedures for the Receiving Department;
o Manage the physical movement of stock, tools, equipment and materials (receiving cycle);
o Ensure all company receiving, loss prevention and security measures are implemented and adhered to by staff;
o Manage, train, evaluate and coach Receiving Department team;
o Establish and administer DOT, FASTRAK and incident logs in a compliant and organized log system;
o Active management of labor man hour budgets;
o Propose cost effective improvements for the facility, fleet and equipment and operational processes;
o Accountable for managing the departments inventory of consumables in storage;
o Ensures the physical appearance and safety standards of the receiving facility are exceptional;
o Regular communication with management on workflow and project status;
o Weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and forecasting of shipping reports, situation reports, will-call reports, conflict reports and budgets.
Skills Required:
o GED or high school diploma (Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred);
o Minimum of 3-5 years in a receiving lead or supervisory position;
o An understanding of basic accounting and standard business operations practice;
o Must be able to successfully lead, train and coach a team;
o Able to communicate effectively, both internally and externally, with a diverse customer base, from peers to executives;
o Able to adapt in a sometimes ambiguous and rapidly changing environment;
o Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
o Advanced computer skills including email and MS Office;
o Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

The temperature will vary from hot to cold depending on the weather. The employee must be able to drive 16' and 24' truck.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
