Concierge/Marketing Rep - Westin Maui

The ideal Concierge/Marketing Representative will have a contagious Spirit of Aloha, be extremely knowledgeable of the Island of Maui, have a positive can-do attitude, enjoy assisting guests and fellow Reps, and be capable of meeting performance targets. This is an Hourly
Bonus position.
Concierge/Marketing Reps serve all Hotel guests and visitors to Maui in Concierge Services, promoting the Hotel's outlets, ensuring that all of a guest's desires for a superior vacation experience will be exceeded, while at the same time, successfully inviting guests to discover Westin Vacation Ownership through a 90 minute Preview.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Performing exemplary and outstanding concierge service to all guests of the resort and visitors to Maui.
-Place and confirm reservation requests on behalf of guests and visitors
-Reconfirm pertinent reservation details
-Promote the Westin Maui Resort and Spa's outlets and make reservations
-Create a Starwood customer for life by promotion of SPG program.
-Create interest in attending a 90 minute sales presentation for Westin Vacation Ownership.
-Perform the daily duties assigned to by the manager.
-Continue to build on knowledge of local area and hotel amenities.
-Maintain positive working relations with fellow Starwood associates and merchants.
-Assist any and all guests when opportunities arise.
-Follow up on any guest requests to ensure satisfaction in a friendly and professional manner.
-Return calls of all guests in a timely manner.
-Use proper telephone etiquette with all guests. Always address the guest in a professional manner.
-Complete daily checklists and adhere to standards.
-Maintain minimum performance standards for tour and GI generation.
-Maximize tour flow and lead generation through guest experience and contest promotions.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Be flexible with hours working weekends, holidays, and AM or PM shifts if needed. Keep track of personal progress and goals to improve knowledge of business and self-motivation.
