JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Create highly refined keyword strategies
Mastery of on page optimization and content editing including call-to-action statements, headlines, meta tags, page titles, alt tags, and description.
Keyword research, analysis, and implementation into content and other aspects of web marketing
Perform thorough, detailed website analysis, identifying current problems and opportunities, with a focus on on crawlability, site architecture and site content
Perform competitive research, identifying what competitors are doing right, what they're doing wrong, and what we can do to improve our web marketing
Conduct research for off-page SEO campaigns that drive awareness, build buzz and indicate relevance to the search engines
Demonstrate knowledge of crawling and indexation factors.
Demonstrate knowledge of page rendering and load speed factors.
Blog writing, editing and optimization
Internal link building experience
External (inbound) link building experience
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends for ecommerce
Ability to analyze ranking reports and analytics data to make recommendations and take actions to optimize our web marketing.
Staying up to date on current industry practices, news, and algorithm updates
REQUIRED
Experience:
3 years' experience in SEO
2
years of natural search / SEO experience. Active, hands-on optimization experience is required
BA in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Media Sciences, Journalism, Computer Science, Business or any of the emerging Digital Marketing degrees.
Knowledge of social media and search engine marketing (SEM)
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
A working knowledge of HTML and CMS
Working knowledge of Volussion a plus
Ecommerce experience a plus
Proven track record of growing meaningful traffic by executing on a successful content strategy.
Experience in developing and implementing link building strategies and tactics.
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Adwords of content management systems, and other industry specific tools
Third party SEO tracking software experience is a plus
Innovative thinker, intuitive learner, with ability to quickly find solutions in fast-moving industry
Having passed Google Advertising Fundamentals Exam a plus
Paid search management experience is a bonus but you will need to have the core understanding of how SEO and SEM play nice together.
Social media strategic awareness is a must since every day it seems that Google layers in another way social is influencing search results.
The ability to write coherent, compelling copy that is not only keyword-rich, but also user-friendlyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
