Position
Summary:
Analyze and optimize engineering activities and resources to meet business and production goals while striving to continuously improve manufacturing processes and develop fellow team members. Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for planning, directing, and coordination of resources for engineering and process improvement activities.
2) Responsible for initiating and implementing projects, activities or ideas to meet business objectives, and financial and production goals.
3) Responsible for leveraging engineering resources and developing engineering tasks to be delivered to drive overall costs down and achieve quality and productivity goals.
4) Mentoring and developing members of the Engineering team to achieve organization and individual goals.
5) Monitor production operations, investigate and evaluate new technologies to resolve current or potential problems, and make recommendations for improvements as they relate to our manufacturing facility and equipment.
6) Facilitate continuous improvement throughout the facility. Techniques used will include but are not limited to Six Sigma, lean manufacturing Kaizan, 5S, PFMEA, DFMEA, SMED, SPC, Visual Factory, Kanban, work balancing, root cause analysis and manufacturing flow models.
7) Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations management when purchasing equipment and assisting with installations.
8) Provide technical expertise with documented engineering studies regarding the capability of processes, equipment, products, and raw materials, as it relates to the process of manufacturing our products.
9) Compliance with all safety requirements and adherence to OSHA standards to provide a safe and clean facility.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering
Requires at least 5 years of supervisory experience and directing team work efforts to meet corporate, departmental and group goals.
Requires at least 5 years of experience as a technical resource for a manufacturing/production process.
Requires at least 5 years of overseeing development and implementation of standards, practices and procedures for projects and support work.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
