Essential Functions
o Responsible for successfully joining optical fibers through the use of a fusion splicer. Must have knowledge of networking fiber andcopper. Attaining a low loss splicethrough a proficient cleave (cut) and splice is required.
o Responsible for thetesting of fiber optic cable; along with displaying and interpreting resultsfor the purpose of analyzing and documenting fiber optic links.
measures end-to-end loss, point losses such as splices, connectors and fiberbreaks. Power Meter & Light Source - displays system loss over the fiber and both end connectors. o Travel extensively in and out-of-state.
o Must be available for weekend, night shifts, on call duty, emergency calls or on demandappointments as required or directed by Company representatives.
o Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet customer demands/schedule.
o Must have valid driver's license.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Education/Skills/Experience
Must be deadline driven with the ability to work as required to meet client's needs. 2-4 years of related
experience. Must be able to use all types of common hand tools and splicing tools of the trade.
Physical Requirements
o Must be able to stand, walk and work on uneven ground
for the full workday.
o Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
o Must have good eyesight and hearing capabilities.
o Must work outside in all types of weather conditions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
