Staff Accountant
at our
Corporate Office
. This position requires a self-motivated individual to assist the financial controller with various accounting tasks to insure accurate and timely completion of work within one or more sections, such as accounts payable, payroll or general accounting.
Specific Duties: Staff Accountant:
Reviews and processes for payment vendor invoices and expense reports. Resolve discrepancies on invoices or reports by interfacing with vendors and employees.
Prepares invoices and record in the GL
Daily/Monthly Bank & Intercompany Reconciliations
Prepares the Monthly Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
Processes the quarterly estimated tax payments.
Prepares the allocation of corporate income taxes (Federal and State)
Prepares the monthly reporting/forecasting to parent company
Prepares the monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses and recording of adjusting and reclassification of journal entries
Prepares the consolidated internal financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the subsidiaries.
Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Assist the Controller with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting Department
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Maintains and controls the and business transactions of the organization,Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
