Responsibilities:
Help maintain a fleet of medical devices and perform service calls as necessary
Work with several departments within the project to solve problems and find solutions
Relay information between key individuals within the servicing process
Documentation of service performed and root cause analysis
Assist Engineering as necessary
Assist Quality Assurance as necessary
Assist Manufacturing as necessary
Travel on short notice as necessary
Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering Degree from a 4 year institution
Minimum 1 year experience in a technical field
Experience with hemodialysis equipment from an operational and technical perspective
Ability to diagnose problems and see the solutions through to completion
Hands-on experience with common tools and software
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
Software experience must include the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Experience using Autodesk Inventor (or similar CAD software)
Experience with design change processes and implementation
Experience with controlled testing of medical devices
Good documentation practicesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
