ABOUT THE JOB
Our Client is in search of a Web Designer and Developer for their next generation of products, the candidate must have hands-on skills required for an enterprise level platform.
The environment is exciting, fast-paced and constantly changing. The right person for this position must be comfortable with shifting priorities, delivery oriented, and accountable for achieving realistic yet challenging goals. The candidate will participate in all aspects of the product definition and development lifecycle including planning, prototyping, designing, construction, documentation, testing and deployment of our core platform.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Thorough knowledge of HTML, CSS
Knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
Responsive design layout abilities.
Knowledge of the ExtJs framework or AngularJS as well as other JavaScript UI frameworks
Understanding of MVC concepts
Understanding of AJAX technologies
Ability to manipulate text and graphics
Ability to layout web pages per specification
Font Awesome and other font related layout strategies
Cross browser compatibility issues
Should possess sound knowledge of modular design approach
Branding and Theming concepts
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, constantly changing environment
Awesome communication skills
Foosball is a plus
Must have experience with long and short term projects
Develop, customize and implement robust ecommerce software
Meet project deadlines by:
Taking ownership
Understanding and analyzing requirements
Designing and develop awesome solutions
Help the QA team build solid technical test plans
Contribute to the team environment to ensure mutual success by providing guidance for development and deployment
Exhibit strong time management skills by prioritizing multiple requests across multiple projects
Provide concise/clear status updates and escalate issues as appropriate to the relevant project stakeholders
Determine optimal solution designs based on the assessment of costs, risks, complexity and benefits
Has successfully deployed web platforms to the internet
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
