Express Employment Professionals in Howell is working with a Manufacturer in the Brighton area to fill Team Leader positions.
Position
Summary:
The position of Monorail Team Leader will involve communicating and coordinating the production schedule to the appropriate personnel to maximize system output. The Monorail Team Leader must utilize leadership, flexibility and organizational skills that encourage teamwork within the production department. This position requires working the production area to set the example to all personnel.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Review/plan and then implement the necessary steps to meet the schedule as directed by the Production Scheduler. Communicate/coach/motivate/coordinate the line workers to efficiently meet/exceed the production schedule.
Constantly Coach the production personnel (contract/new hires) to efficiently maximize the total system (line set-up, tooling, line workers) to efficiently meet/exceed the production schedule.
Consistently strive for system improvement in order to maximize production efficiencies while maintaining a clean, safe, organized work area. (Housekeeping, Quality Assurance)
Appropriate and Professional contact and knowledge of customer concerns and expectations.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written/verbal) with appropriate personnel and departments. (ex: Maintenance Department, Production and Quality Assurance)
Total system knowledge with ability to jump into any job function as necessary to maintain plant efficiencies. (Shipping/Receiving department, Lab, Auditing, Material Handling)
Additional requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read blueprints with knowledge of welding symbols
Basic math skills with ability to read tape measure
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly as well as climb stairs/ladders
Good vision, hearing, smell, and balance
Performing any combination of duties to assist workers in welding, brazing, and cutting activities
Wage rate starts at $11.50 - $13 depending on experience and shift.
