Assistant Chief Logistics Officer

The Assistant Chief Logistics Officer (ACLO) is a full assistant to the Facility Chief Logistics Officer (FCLO) and is also responsible for all functions within the service line in the absence of the FCLO.
The ACLO supports the full scope of Logistics services for the Northern Arizona VA Health Care Facility and all supported Community Based Outpatient Clinics and Primary Care Telemedicine Outpatient Clinics.
The ACLO provides expertise and oversight of pre-work, specifically with acquisition procurement planning of local requirements and procurement and purchasing of supplies and equipment used by all facilities at NAVAHCS.
The duties and responsibilities of the ACLO include, but are not limited to:
Functions as the FCLO in the FCLO's absence.
Provides expertise and oversight of acquisition procurement planning of local requirements, supplies and equipment.
Service line budget processing, business plan development and execution.
Second line supervision of Logistics service line personnel.
First line supervision of property management section personnel.
Monitoring, coordinating, timeliness and accuracy of reports.
Equipment control and excess property management.
Expendable and durable supply receipt, storage and issue operations.
Mail and reproduction operations.
Fund control point management.
Draft local logistics program policies, procedures and guides.
Manage the Logistics Quality Assurance program.
Operate facility's document shredding program.
Represent Logistics service line in meetings, committees, boards and working groups.
Apply and interpret FAR, VAAR, information resource management, property management, and Comptroller General policies, procedures, regulations and guides.
Coordinate logistical requirement with service lines and departments throughout the facility.
Coordinate with others to accomplish work-related activities.
Respond orally and in writing to inquiries or requests for information.
Brief leadership on logistical issues, status and procedures.
Identify and respond to customer problems, complaints and determine corrective actions.
Maintain accountability of internal Logistical service line accountable property and equipment.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, hours TBD This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Relocation incentives are authorized for this position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
