An immediate opening is available for a Construction Project Coordinator at a Commercial Retail Development company currently operating in GA and FL.
Job Description
This position will be responsible for coordination of multiple retail construction projects alongside of Project Managers and Superintendents in order to successfully execute project delivery to various National tenants. This position's primary responsibility will be coordinating permitting, material orders, subcontracts and updates to the company and client.
Position Responsibilities
Coordination of project permitting including site, building, environmental, health, etc. by completing applications, submitting payments, routing plans and corresponding with permitting agencies. This will require researching permitting requirements, submitting and tracking of each.
Responsible for preparing and soliciting bid packages then routing to Project Manager for review. Once awarded the coordinator will prepare subcontractor agreements and route for execution.
Prepare and submit weekly project updates based on communication with the Project Managers and Superintendents.
Provide project assistance to the project managers and other coordinators as needed.
Update remote file and note applications such as Dropbox and Evernote with current project plans and status.
Set up project rentals such as dumpsters and porta potties.
Track and ensure completion of project maintenance issues.
Order project materials and track deliveries.
Other Job Responsibilities
Coordination with other departments within the company for project close outs.
Collaborate with various divisions of the company to help develop procedures and systems to maintain and/or increase the company's production and reputation.
Maintain a firm understanding of expectations and standards to ensure accurate and consistent project deliveries.
Provide assessment and recommendations to better the processes used and products delivered.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Two year college degree and experience in public relations.
Strong team player attitude with excellent communication skills.
Must possess excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to independently manage task and self-motivate.
Must possess proven influencing skills and be able to establish working relationships with varying permitting, regulatory and inspection agencies.
Preferred Requirements
Four year college degree.
Construction knowledge and experience in a related field.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
