My name is Shannon and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Process / Value Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located Schenectady, NY. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
The Value Engineer will support the Global Supply Chain by providing support with detailed cost prediction analysis in order to improve the supplier negotiation process and drive product cost out.
Responsibilities:
Provide support with detailed cost prediction analysis utilizing multiple tools and inputs from cross-functional global teams.
Utilize UG modeling tool to manipulate, simplify, update and create 3D models.
Work with Sourcing functions to arm them with cost predictions in order to improve the supplier negotiation process and drive product cost out.
