Director of Marketing and Membership Sales
The Ford Plantation www.fordplantation.com, an acclaimed member-owned private sporting club and community, is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team at our office in Richmond Hill, Georgia. We are looking for one of our key roles, a Marketing & Membership Director, who will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities-external and internal. This position directs the efforts of the marketing, communications, membership services and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels to generate prospect inquiries to the Club and affiliated onsite real estate sales office. The Marketing & Membership Director will lead the membership sales process and meet with prospects to ascertain fit and close the sale. This position reports to the CEO & General Manager and serves as a member of the senior management team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success. A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, public relations or journalism is preferred. Required is a strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skill set with personal sales abilities, while also managing the day-to-day functions of the department. Experience working in a luxury master-planned community or hospitality organization is extremely important.
