Part-Time Logistics & Document Control position
Combined Refrigeration & Smart Family of Cooling Products are searching for a hard working, reliable person to assist with our logistics and office documentation. This is a part time position that will require approximately 25 hours of work per week. Typical office hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm. The preference is for the applicant to work 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, but flex scheduling is available.
Having experience in handling international shipping is preferred but not a prerequisite. However, some familiarity of how logistics work is required. Good organizational skills are a plus!
Some of the duties the applicant will be expected to complete are listed below.
Arrange Ocean freight for overseas manufacturing shipments.
Track the entire shipment.
Issue purchase orders
Inform overseas manufacturing of intended schedule
Arrange air freight for Equipment items:
Evaporator air freight
Arrange other components going to overseas plant
Arranging air freight for parts coming to CRR from overseas manufacturing plant
Verify that all IOM (Installation, Operation, & Maintenance Manual) data is correctly located on the server
Review all items that come in from printer (PostNet).
Make sure hard copy IOM's are completed, in the document library, and customer copies are shipped to customer
Order all tags, name plates, and stickers used on Manufacturing and Equipment units
