We are seeking to fill immediate openings for Personal Care Aide (PCA) with a minimum of 6 months experience in a home health.
NCNA
Responsibilities:
Assist consumers with person care needs: bathing, shampooing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, shaving, elimination needs, transferring, dressing/undressing, and ambulation together with any household tasks (e.g., making bed, changing linens, laundry, light housekeeping, etc.) essential to the patient's health in accordance with the personal care plan.
Promote personal safety and safe environment for consumers by following infection control practices, agency guidelines and reporting unsafe situations to the Supervisor or Administrator.
Document services provided in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with company policy and personal care plan.
Maintain consumer confidentiality at all times. Demonstrate respect for the consumer and family members. Maintain compliance with the consumer's Bill of Rights
Attend in-service programs to meet agency compliance requirements.
Compliance and understanding of Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements.
Caregiver
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Successful completion of Harmony Personal Care Aide Training Program. Participate in required continuing education programs provided through
Harmony (minimum of 12 hours per year).
Possess a general desire to help people and demonstrate patience and compassion.
