Licensed Practical Nurse CLC(101-7/8)

The LPN Assigned to Community Living Center Nursing Home Care Unit is held accountable for delivering direct patient care to adult through geriatric aged patients.
He/she recognizes the age related needs and demonstrates knowledge and care appropriate to that age group.
He/she considers the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation need of the patients, demonstrates competence and correctly provides appropriate care for that age group or groups.
He/she has a broad working knowledge of practical nursing procedures.
Recognizes culture differences in patients and demonstrates ability to understand and respect the patient's culture values, beliefs, and practices.
He/she provides effective education to patients and/or families members in relation to common disease processes, medication, and/or prescribed treatment regimes.
He/she directs patients in restorative techniques to preserve functioning and prevent complications through exercise, ambulation, gait training, bowel/bladder training, socialization groups, and ADL training.
Work Schedule:
Night shift with rotating weekends, rotating days offFunctional Statement Title/#:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
