Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for enhancements and new products. Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools. Determine hardware compatibility and/or influence hardware design. Responsible for design, development, modification, and evaluation of software components and systems. Responsible for Designing end to end applications (Both Audio and Data Services) for Satellite Radio Module (SDARS) and Receiver modules (AM, FM, HD, DAB) for Multimedia, Infotainment and Telematics systems in Automotive domain. Responsible for embedded software development using QNX, CAN, IPC, and C/C++. Responsible for developing IPC cluster server proxy for Multimedia, Bluetooth and Navigation systems using List Browser Protocol (LBP). Responsibility may include multiple products, complex designs and new technology and successful product launches for embedded automotive multimedia devices. Responsible for full life cycle embedded software and/or firmware development for products. Work with project team and software team to plan, and manage, and provide status of development and delivery schedules. Responsible for issues related to product software development, high level design and delivery. Work with other engineering disciplines to ensure development schedules are met. Analyze and resolve product issues and defects involving software engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, and test engineering disciplines. Instruct other developers and suppliers in task assignments, software design, prioritizing, planning, testing, and reporting of project status to management. Interface with customers in software development to plan, design, prioritize, and report project status. Conduct requirements, design code and test plan reviews. Integrate software modules to produce a working product. Follow, recommend, and implement software processes. Write software development plan (SDP), software design document (SDD), project timing plans, and release notes. Confer with Senior and Staff Engineers to prepare and document design modifications. Employ quality improvement and supplier relations approach utilizing customer required formats such as Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Production Quality Process (APQP) techniques. Prepare product and component related specifications to support manufacture or building of prototype products and systems. Support manufacturing for building of prototype products and systems. Responsible for determining functional requirements appropriate to the product. Plan, develop, and participate in experimentation and tests related to product development. Generate and analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications. Responsible for determining root cause of product non-performance. Develop, participate in and analyze research to determine feasibility of proposed product specifications. Participate in development of design process procedure and plan development of experimental test programs. Develop test and design process procedures. Evaluate test results for possible application to other products and/or systems. Evaluate chip sets for telematics products and be able to technically communicate the advantages/disadvantages of each.
Domestic and International travel may be required.
Five (5) years of progressive experience in the specialty field.
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field of study.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
