SCOPE:
Partner with the Business Unit General Manager and Sales Manager relative to product planning, development, marketing and release.
Responsibilities:
Focus on developing products to create/meet market needs and preparing sales channels to effectively take the products to market.
Prepare the Annual and Five-Year Product Plans for the group.
Develop and lead product initiatives as included in the plan and assigned, with emphasis on meeting timelines.
Work closely with customer(s) end-users, industry organizations, research institutions and other Business Unit's to identify, qualify and prioritize future product opportunities and improvement needs.
Provide accurate market and cost information for the financial analysis of product opportunities/priorities.
Play a significant role in developing internal and/or external source(s) to satisfy product needs of the business. Assist in local manufacturing and assembly initiatives to improve product quality and/or competitiveness.
Actively participate in developing product marketing plans in conjunction with other Business Units, including media programs to support selected products/concepts.
Develop and maintain product support information including instruction manuals, technical sales data, product bulletins, price lists and competitive product information.
Coordinate training of sales staff, distributors and customers on products.
Partner with Sales Manager regarding trade show booth design and participation.
Become and maintain active with Committees and Organizations within the industry.
Provide recommendations on corresponding patent and trademark protection opportunities,
REQUIREMENTS:
University degree, with 5
years product management or related experience. Technical and/or Engineering degree preferred. Strong understanding of product management /marketing, industrial sales channels and manufacturing. Experience working with manufacturers outside the United States. Experience in on-site training of company staff, customers and distributors. Proven project management skills. Ability to provide an industry seminar on segment topic. Proactive and decisive leader for the business with excellent communication skills. Team player with the ability to interact with other personnel, and with other cultures. Energetic, honest individual with high ethical standards. Ability to travel as needed, some international but not expected to exceed 30%.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
