Dental Biller

Medical/Dental Billing Company is looking for a full time Dental biller to add to our team! We are located in Shrewsbury (Monmouth County), N.J.
Individual must be able to adapt to an ever changing, busy environment. Candidate must be reliable and a team player with a positive attitude, having excellent computer and verbal/written communication skills for provider, staff and patient interactions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Review patient's account to make sure all necessary information has been obtained
o Communicate effectively with various insurance companies to verify and resolve any discrepancies
o Daily processing of primary and secondary claims
o Verify by phone or on insurance websites that outstanding claims were received
o Accurate and timely posting of charges and payments. Review EOBs and ERAs to verify correct payment.
o Investigate denied claims and resend with requested or corrected information. Appeal any claims that were paid incorrectly.
o Daily follow up on rebilled and appealed claims
o Make sure claims get paid accurately
o Review delinquent self-pay accounts and send appropriate correspondence
o Must be able to meet specified quotas and goals
o Run daily, weekly and monthly reports
At least 2 years of experience in dental billing & revenue cycle is required. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus. This is a high volume, fast paced and exciting environment. We have a strong team, supportive management & offer a casual work environment with flex schedules, vacation time, medical, dental, life and retirement. Salary based on experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
