Director of Women's Services
Director of Women's services position open.
156 staffed bed, Joint Commission accredited investor-owned, hospital. 10 bed LDRP with a 10 bed level IIIA NICU (some vent babies). 700 deliveries/year (volume needs to grow). Low c-section rate and c-sections are performed in the OR. Reporting to the interim Director are L&D 35.3 FTEs, NICU 14.6 and 1 Lactation Consultant. There is a vacant Manager position (perm Director will hire). NICU volumes vary widely. Would like the Interim Director to put processes in place for the shift in volume and perform some cross-training of staff, work on quality initiatives, assess the department for clinical experience, update policies and procedures and be visible to physicians. Will be doing some renovation on the unit. Non union. RN required. Tennessee RN licensable. Bachelor's required. BSN & MSN preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
