Security/ Access Control Technician

Location: Matthews, NC
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Access Control/Security Technician for our thriving branch. The Access Control/Security Technician will work closely with the Customer Service Manager, Account Managers, Service Coordinators, and Operations Coordinators in making decision about Security Systems' field operations and installation of new systems. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Installation of Access Control, CCTV, Alarm, and Fire systems
o Communication with customer during the installation process and status of the job, schedule changes, delays, RFI's, systems testing
o Communication with customer before installation process to help them select the best products that work for them
o Attends construction meetings
o Ensures assigned installations are completed on-time and within budget
o Maintains and submits accurate paperwork and documentation
o Installing conduit, coring, or trenching
o Installing/pulling cable and wire
o Mounting panels, field devices, computers, power supplies
o Programming, set-up, testing systems
o Testing and inspections

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the Security/Access Control Technician position will meet the following requirements:
o High school diploma or equivalent required.
o 2
years of CCTV, Alarm, Fire and Access Control installation experience highly preferred but not required.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Clean background and able to pass a drug testEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
