NOC Technician Job Opening in St. Louis, MO

Modis is looking for NOC technicians for a long term contract to hire position with a client located in St Louis.
Candidates MUST have experience troubleshooting Windows server issues.
Database troubleshooting is also very highly desired and Network troubleshooting is a plus.
Candidates must be able to troubleshoot the issues themselves.
Job Description:
Monitors network and server infrastructure.
Configure monitoring tools to provide availability and performance metrics for entire Company.
Responsibilities:
o Monitor servers, network devices, and applications for faults or performance problems.
o Perform triage and escalate issues to support teams.
Provide information to supports teams as needed to resolve issues.
- 75%o Produce reports from monitoring data.
Work with customers to develop new reports.
- 10%o Create/modify monitors to support data collection and reporting - 10%o Effectively communicate information so issues can quickly resolved.
- 5% Skills:
5-7 years experience within a technology related field.
3-5 within technology field with minimum, two (2) years experience working directly with customers (NOC required).
Ability to analyze large volumes of information and quickly determine path to resolution.
Previous experience in a NOC is required.
Great customer service skills.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals.
Windows Server experience.
Unix/Linux Server experience (preferred).
Strong Cisco networking background.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Network and server monitoring background (preferred).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
