Product Marketing Managers
SanDisk Corporation needs Product Marketing Managers in Milpitas, California to Develop specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs. Establish pricing strategies. Work with engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
Employer will accept Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration or related technical field and five year(s) of work experience in job offered or five year(s) of work experience in a Product Marketing Manager-related occupation. Education or experience must include: Semiconductor manufacturing, process, reliability and device technology; Semiconductor product and device engineering; Failure analysis in semiconductor product and process; Building competitive product and cost analysis models which capture internal and external product strategies, architectures and costs; Creating positioning and product collateral to differentiate and support pricing models and overall business objectives; Creating and maintaining of the product portfolio and alignment with marketing including an understanding of applications; and Being a cross-functional leader and interface to technical and business teams. Some travel may be required to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
