The Human Resources Administrator will support the Recruiting & Culture Manager with generalist HR and recruiting administration responsibilities. You will handle all handles all aspects of payroll processing, benefits administration, supporting recruiting initiatives, and fielding employee questions.

Core
Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects, including processing, of a bi-weekly payroll for a multi-state retail employer using ADP Run
Maintain HRIS system maintenance from start to finish--enter new hires, process changes and terminations
Maintain employee records and files
Respond to and manage unemployment claims and worker's compensation cases.
Handle all administrative duties under the company's benefits plan- open enrollment, payroll deduction setup, benefits billing reconciliation, FSA and 401k funding to designated vendors, etc.
Manage the company's COBRA administration and participate as needed in audits for benefits and payroll related items
Partner with Accounting & Finance teams on ad hoc reporting and projects
Skills & Qualifications
3 - 5 years of relevant experience
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and initiative through individual research and drive
Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to use good judgment and execute deliberately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate and work well as one team with all levels of the organization
Ability to manage multiple tasks, show adaptability and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy with a strong attention to detail
Strong sense of urgency and accuracy
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues objectively
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
Creative problems solving skills and results oriented
Passionate about yoga product and industry

Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of ADP Run, ADP Workforce Now, or other HRIS/Payroll system(s)
Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems: Jobvite, Taleo, ADP, etc.
Excellent Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Typing 60 wpm

Additional Considerations:
This position is based in El Segundo but will require at least 1 day a week in the Santa Monica office at a minimum.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
