A business analyst works in IT as a liaison between the information technology group and the specific business function supports. This business analyst position supports factory operations and requires in depth business domain expertise in planning, manufacturing, materials management, engineering and the supporting business systems. Candidate analyses business requirements, designs and implements process and system improvements. The business analyst also provides first and second level end user support for business systems, analyses process and system problems and determines corrective actions. Analyze, document and prioritize business requirements in cooperation with key users, process owners and business leaders. Analyze, model and document current-state and future-state business processes using process modeling tools and following a consistent modeling methodology. Design and implement process improvements and system enhancements that conform to industry and application best practices. Evaluate and select bolt on applications to meet specific business requirements not met by the core ERP system. Analyze, design and implement system enhancements to enable and optimize business processes. Analyze and define business-reporting requirements and implement in cooperation with the business intelligence team. Perform data analysis using SQL queries and ad-hoc reporting tools. Act as project manager for IT intensive business improvement projects. Provide periodic classroom training on supported systems. Provide day to day process and application support to end-users. Troubleshoot technical application and data issues and engage with the corporate SAP group or third party suppliers for higher levels of support.
Requirements
This position required 5
years of progressive ERP implementation or support experience in manufacturing and materials management. Outstanding functional domain expertise in planning, manufacturing, materials management or engineering. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, subject matter experts and end-users. Motivated to drive projects to successful completion, whether leading an initiative, supporting a team or working independently. Focused on results by emphasizing delivery of measurable business benefits aligned with clearly defined key performance indicators. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong analytical skills, including excellent proficiency in discovering customer business needs and translating them into functional and technical requirements. Excellent knowledge of business processes and best practices in manufacturing operations. Good project management skills and understanding of project management lifecycle with the ability to successfully lead projects. Good understanding of business process modeling methodologies and tools (BPMN, Visio, ARIS), complex discrete make-to-order manufacturing environment and product configuration technology (like SAP VC). Data analysis using SQL Queries. Certifications: SAP, APICS, CBAP, PMP, ITIL, etc.
Education
Bachelor degree from an accredited higher learning institution in computer science, business, operations management, or engineering (equivalent work experience acceptable with additional experience beyond 5
years)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
