Regional Staffing Coordinator

Position Overview
Cultivate and build strong relationships with candidates. Utilize interviewing skills and recruiting techniques to source the best candidates. Execute preliminary interviews to guide and communicate to candidates the job expectations to increase the chances of the candidates being hired for the Scribe position. Responsible for the initial introduction of MSS and facilitating the entire interview process.

Position Responsibilities
Assess site Scribe requirements and match applicants with these requirements, utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting.
Manage the opening and closing of job requisitions.
Review applications and interview applicants to ensure work history, education, training, job skills and compensation requirement matches the requirements and competency of being a Scribe.
Qualify and hire best quality candidates to fit specific site needs.
Prepare candidates for onsite interviews by educating them on Scribe job descriptions and expectations.
Responsible for new hire paperwork and compliance documentations, which include:
background checks, medical clearance requirements (be able to interpret medical results), physicals, and site-specific, new hire compliance process, and confidential employee information.
Securely administer, collect and manage new hire employee information and submitting to Payroll for handling.
Track and maintain LMS scores, follow-up with Scribes to ensure they are meeting given deadlines and update dashboards with the scores.
Manage I-9 process, maintenance and retention.
Compile, sort and verify site-specific onboarding guidelines before submitting final employee documentation.
Maintain, management and communicate employee status with designated Site contact(s).
Order and maintain Scribe uniforms
Maintain and track annual vaccine requirements and compliance. I.E. TB Tests and Flu Shots
Assist Scribe staff with questions and directing to the appropriate contact (AM, PR, HR) for handling.
Maintain and compile with The Joint Commission, HIPAA, CMS, Site-specific and MSS compliance guidelines
Require active participation and support in providing documentation and information as needed during compliance audits
Develop relationships with local colleges to recruit potential candidates for Scribe positions. I.E. Contact Academic/Campus Advisors, Pre-Med and Pre-Science Counselors, Career Services and Placement Offices
Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Planning and organizational skills, strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to perform essential functions and responsibilities with limited supervision.
Problem analysis, problem solving, self-motivated skills.
0-2 years job-related experience and desire to learn and work in healthcare industry.
Ability to interact, build and maintain relationships with all levels within an organization.
Must be computer savvy and proficient with web-based search engines, Microsoft office suite software, etc. Working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing programs (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint).

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 8:
30 a.m. to 5:
00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
