Reporting to the Mill Manager as an active member of the management team, the chosen candidate will contribute to the strategic plan of the mill by having more specifically the following main
Responsibilities:
Act as a Maintenance Liaison with our Third Party Maintenance team with the following:
Management and follow-up of the company Contract and budget by working closely with company's Maintenance Manager; World Class safety culture implementation (lockout, confined space, A risks); Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance systems are implemented to achieve reliability and availability targets; Ensure proactive maintenance procedures are developed, increasing productivity and reducing downtime by continuous improvement; Continue process of implementing world class maintenance practices; Shutdown planning and execution; Manage company technical projects and initiatives; Manage capital projects and capital investment strategy; Responsible of all aspects (technical, legal compliance, etc.
) of the Mill's environmental management Requirements:
The preferred candidate should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 3-7 years of relevant technical experience in a maintenance leadership role within a paper mill environment; The candidate must be self-motivated, able to function autonomously, rigorous, well-organized, detail-oriented, and efficient under pressure.
This person must be an exceptional team player with hands-on problem solving skills; Knowledge of maintenance planning, preventive maintenance and SAP SMMS; Experience in 3rd party contract management; The candidate is also responsible to promote the company's team based and participative culture centered around employee involvement on teams and committees.
