Summary:
Senior Accountant performs complex accounting, financial reporting, and analysis functions. Serves as an advisor to management on complex business or financial processes.
Essential Functions:
SEC reporting including 10-K and 10-Q filings.
Audit coordination with external auditors.
Monitor emerging accounting guidance and make recommendations concerning the impact and appropriate accounting and/or reporting treatment for the company.
Assist in the monthly financial close including preparing, reviewing and/or interpreting financial data to determine reasonableness and accuracy of information and reports. Provide relevant financial analyses as needed.
Ensure financial statement integrity by establishing and following internal controls.
Identify and anticipate problems and critical issues and then implement appropriate responses to meet business challenges.
Actively work to improve the accuracy and efficiency of each assigned financial process and/or function.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in accounting
Minimum of 4 years accounting experience
CPA strongly preferred
SEC reporting experience preferred
Experience in an insurance environment preferred
Machinery and Equipment to be operated:
PC (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc); 10 key


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
