Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (Psych Nurse - Psych NP)
Have you ever wanted to visit a dude ranch? How about work at one? This residential care facility specialized in eating disorders and looking for a psychiatric nurse practitioner to assist for part time vacation coverage for the end of August through September. The mental health practitioner is responsible for medication management and ongoing treatment working with their treatment team. The nurse practitioner must be comfortable working with adolescence as well as young adults. The expected schedule will be 8 am to 5pm, with no Call requirement. A psychiatric nurse practitionerprovides therapeutic and psychiatric services to patients in need. These practitioners may work in a wide range of sectors, including as social workers, pastors, or addiction counselors. Mental health practitioners diagnose and assess their patients' needs and work to create effective plans for rehabilitation, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medicine, and making referrals as necessary.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
