The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for working with other members of the rehabilitation team to provide quality care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of physical disabilities. The Staff OTR will plan and implement treatment programs according to departmental policy with the goal of maximizing the patient's level of functioning and independence in daily life skills. The Staff OTR is responsible for documenting services rendered and participating in ongoing evaluation of quality of care provided by the department. The Staff Occupational Therapist may be asked to supervise an assistant or a student after one year of experience.
Qualifications:
Licensed in state of facility site of hire (either NH or MA) and eligible for licensure in alternate state (and license obtained within first 3 months of hire). Per Diems only need to be licensed in the state in which they will work. Trained and recertified bi-annually in CPR. Good general health and emotional stability. Ability to bend, lift and assist with transfers and ambulation. Adequate physical strength to assist with resistive activities.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
