Quality Engineer - Tier I automotive

Explosive growth has led to an immediate opportunity for a seasoned Quality Engineer with strong automotive plastics background. Candidates should have a strong quality engineering background in a Tier I automotive environment - experience with German OEM's a definite plus!

Responsibilities will include:

Review processes and procedures on an on-going basis for safety, quality and production efficiency
Problem solving of customer, internal, and supplier quality issues
Participate in Continuous Improvement events
Ensure TS16949 compliance
Specify inspection procedures, requirements, including measurement methods, sample sizes, frequency, and necessary equipment
Customer PPAP submissions prepare and maintain documentation
Customer liaison activities
Provide quality technical support to customer
Dimensional studies, product and component evaluations
Process capability studies
Generate sort and rework instructions as required
Gage studies, evaluations, R & R studies
Work with suppliers on quality issue resolutions and corrective actions
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years previous experience a a Quality Engineer in a Tier I Environment, preferably with a German owned Supplier - knowledge of injection molded plastic components would be ideal. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
