AutoCAD Layout Designer
Reid Engineering Services has an immediate requirement for an experienced AutoCAD Layout Designer to produce plant layout drawings for a major manufacturer in the Stuart, FL area. This is a contract position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Produce detailed layout drawings in a manufacturing setting
o Draw layout, piping, wiring, lighting, structural, etc. diagrams as required
o Prepare layout drawings per engineering specifications
REQUIRED SKILLS
o Excellent AutoCAD abilities
o Facilities layout skills
o Familiarity with building conventions
o Understanding of manufacturing machinery siting
o Strict attention to detail
o Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams
o Sound knowledge of engineering design principles
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o 5 years AutoCAD experience
o Successful completion of CAD technical training preferred
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
