Maintenance Manager

Position
Summary:
Provide and maintain a fully functional facility to include; MHE, conveyor, electrical and janitorial while staying within budgetary restraints.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Identify and assign Maintenance tasks to staff of maintenance technicians Prioritize tasks to most efficiently use maintenance resources.
Schedule preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment for the facility.
Train technicians on conveyor and forklift equipment.
Maintain sufficient spare parts so that equipment can be repaired within minimal delays.
Responsible for department budget to control facility cost.
Responsible for a safe work environment by observing and enforcing OSHA related requirements.
Sign purchase orders for maintenance and housekeeping supplies.
Arrange vendor services for specialized preventive maintenance and housekeeping functions.
Identify and assign custodial tasks to custodial staff.
Coordinate special projects as requested from management within the facility.
Occasionally perform duties of maintenance technicians and facility personnel.
Monitor conveyor systems for quick response to downtime situations.
Communicate downtime situations and estimate repair time to operations management.
Read and understand blueprints, electrical scamatics etc.
Understand electrical wiring, welding, and general construction.
Qualifications Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or 5 to 8 years of work related experience.
Mathmatics, PC skills (excel, Word) Blue print reading Electrical scamatics MHE repair (forklifts, man lifts etc.
) Conveyor assembly, repair, systems.
Welding, general construction knowledge.
Preferred Qualification:
Conveyor environment and newer technology experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
