LDAP Support Specialist
Description
We are looking for an LDAP Support Specialist to be a part of our team of client-facing experts to help drive support processes, customer service and solution building. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional that possesses a commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills are a must. Candidates with demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities, adapt well to changing priorities while remaining flexible and enthusiastic will be highly considered.
Principal
Responsibilities:
oWork on LDAP production support environment.
oWriting script to automate LDAP activities.
oCommunication with end user and understanding the problem.
oPrepare technical documentation, as well as root cause analysis reports.
oBe a proactive member of the on-call team on rotational basis.
Required Skills:
oCandidate should have 4 - 10 years of experience in the IT Industry
oMust have over 2 years of experience in supporting LDAP environments.
oExperience with Sun ONE LDAP/Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition.
oHands-on administration including: overall configuration, troubleshooting, patch application, configuring replication, schema management, ACI management, encryption, patch application, etc.;
oExcellent troubleshooting skills to address real-time production issues and restore service from an operations stand-point.
oAdministration, trouble-shooting and scripting for Unix/Solaris/Linux operating environments.
Desired Skills:
oExperience in any product installation, configuration.
oKnowledge of WebSphere Application Server
oWorking Knowledge of any Identity Management Product
oKnowledge of CA Siteminder or any other SSO products
oCandidates should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Educational & Certifications Requirement:
oBachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
