Title of Position - Benefits Administrator
Job Description: Our Benefits Administrator will report to the Director of Human Resources. This person will be responsible for administering and managing the day to day activities of the company benefits programs such as Health and Wellness, Retirement, Life and Accident, Disability, and Leave of Absences.
Responsibilities:

Carry out the day to day administration or the company's benefits programs.
Serve as subject matter expert addressing questions and resolving issues by administering and interpreting benefit programs policies and procedures; including responding to team member inquiries promptly.
Provide feedback and suggestions for plan specifications and design options to inform leadership decision-making including cost and risk estimates.
Provide census data and other required statistics to HR Director & Broker to solicit insurance companies for quotations.
Coordinate and complete the benefits eligibility, enrollment and reconciliation processes.
Maintain records and conduct periodic audits, validations, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Serve as conduit between functional departments and vendor partners regarding systems interface requirements, integration, monitoring and validation.
Prepare reports to illustrate information such as cost analysis, risk potential, participation rates, and trends.
Create and maintain benefits information and communications channels including new plan introductions and rollouts.
Provide education and training on benefits plans and programs to functional leaders and team members.
Prepare and deliver required regulatory reporting.
Coordinate company benefits with government-sponsored programs.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/webinars, establishing networks and participation in professional societies including staying current with state and federal regulatory trends and requirements.
Manage vendor partner relationships.

Qualifications:



Highly skilled at researching, analyzing data, reporting and maintaining comprehensive records.
Excellent phone presence, etiquette and professionalism with a strong customer service orientation.
Working knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing benefits and benefits administration including leave administration.
Strong communication skills - verbal, written in English.
Demonstrated ability to protect and maintain confidential and personally identifiable information.
Basic understanding of financial and business principles.
Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Demonstrated proficiency in project management.
Three plus years administering benefit plans and programs; preferably in an environment with multiple plans.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, other related field or commensurate experience.
Current on Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Experience in a multi site, multi state organization with 1,000
team members a plus.
