SaaS Analyst
Job Description:
This is a vital position within the PDS Product IT/SaaS Department that is responsible for all aspects of operations & execution of the Hosted Vista HRMS applications which includes payroll, human resource and benefits and reporting. A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and thoroughness are needed to facilitate the day-to-day application management and maintenance of our hosted client application environments. This position will address client application support issues, functionality questions and integration of custom application components by interacting one on one with the clients and implementation consultants. This position will be responsible for planning and co-ordination of quarterly Vista HRMS application updates as well as any compliance updates. Additional duties are to include application environment installation and setup which contain all supporting Vista HRMS applications, printing client's payroll checks, reports, quarterly reports, year-end reports, W-2's and T4-A's, transmission of electronic interface files and distributions. Additional and diverse duties will be assigned as warranted.
Responsibilities:
Process client payroll for US and Canadian clients
Process client Quarter and Year End activities and tax filings for US and Canadian clients
Paycheck and W-2, T4-A printing
Interface transmissions (Banking and benefits providers)
Client application and technical support
Crystal Reports installation, creation, maintenance and support
Vista HRMS application installation, setup and advanced configuration
Application of Vista HRMS custom components which includes web pages, workflows and database components
M.S. SQL Server, M.S. IIS installation, setup and maintenance
Trouble-shoot and remedy basic network and VPN connectivity issues
Manage and apply custom Vista HRMS application components
Build Vista HRMS client environments (PROD, TEST & TRAIN)
Manage & maintain the internal SaaS Operations Monitoring system (SQL DB
SQL Agent jobs)
Skills required:
Payroll processing for US and Canada
QE, YE processing and tax filings for US and Canada
Client application and technical level support
High proficiency use of the SQL query language
High proficiency with Crystal Reports reporting tool
Data import and export experience
HRMS advanced application experience
M.S. IIS installation, maintenance and trouble-shooting
Microsoft Office applications working experience
M.S. SQL Server RDBMS installation, setup and performance maintenance
ASP, ASPX and XML coding exposure
JAVA and VB scripting experience
Installation and maintenance of HRMS and all supporting applications (SQL Server, IIS, Crystal Reports 2011
and EasyAsk a natural language query application)
Advance IP networking and routine Firewall modification
Working knowledge of VPN based connectivity, setup and troubleshooting
Data backup and restore application operations and administration
Experience:
Four years minimum working experience with MS SQL Server 2005, 2008 and two years with 2012 RDBMS platforms is required. The candidate must have hands-on experience with database administration, RDBMS upgrades and service pack application, advanced knowledge of the SQL language and DB security. Payroll processing, tax filing processes, DB report and maintenance plan creation administration, data import and export tools and mechanisms and a working knowledge of browser based client server applications is necessary. Working proficiency with the use of MS Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server (2005, 2008, and 2012) is highly favorable. Additionally, a working knowledge of IP networking, VPN (IPSEC) secured connectivity, data backup & recovery administration and network firewall operation is desired.
Education:
A B.S. degree or equivalent work experience, solid communication skills written and verbal, facilitation and coordination skills are required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
