Construction Project Manager

DESCRIPTION
Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed safely in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with owner site representatives, contractors, etc.
Job performance will be highly rated and reviewed regularly noting this will be the most important aspect of this position. We have software that will allow us to track job performance daily providing optimal utilization of resources and tools.

Responsibilities:
Develop bidders list, with established awareness of local market capabilities
oManage bidding process consistent with company guidelines
oManage all contracts with contractors, testing companies and design professionals.
oCommunicate and negotiate with clients and subcontractors.
oIndependently create and maintain detailed project schedule with logic.
oSet up a multi-element cash flow and manpower projection analysis at varying stages of the project; enter monthly actuals and run reports; adjust projections based on actual progress
oEstablish and oversee the safety plan at the jobsite; set safety culture at jobsite
oManage monthly payment application process
oSupport jobsite cost management, including monitoring of job profitability
Supervise and mentor project jobsite staff

Requirements:
oMinimum 3-5 years experience in the construction industry
oLocal experience and contractor knowledge o4-year technical/engineering degree required
oStrong verbal and written communications and negotiation skills
oMS Office skills required, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ProjectEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
