Cooks needed in the Sandusky area!
LGC Hospitality Staffing is currently in need of cooks in the Sandusky, Ohio area!
You must have a good work ethic, be able to work in a fast paced environment, and be able to assist in training kitchen staff. This position is an opportunity for a passionate and entrepreneurial minded individual. We are looking for someone that is motivated to take over the kitchen and be creative with the menu. Experience / Education / Skills / Knowledge
A minimum of 2-3 years of restaurant experience is required.
Management Experience is a plus
Culinary degree or equivalent is desired
Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
Knowledge of menu composition
Understanding of use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Balanced people skills
Strong problem solving skills
Financial management skills (ability to manage operating budgets)
Ability to acquire and maintain relationships (with associates, guests, clients and vendors)
Knowledge of banquet service is a plus
Ability to effectively manage labor productivity
Strong organizational skills
Ability to use standard software applications and POS systems
Effective conflict management skills
Good training / facilitator skills
Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment
Knowledge of governmental health regulations is a plus
