Electrical / Controls Engineer (2nd Shift)

We are looking to fill a full time 2nd Shift Electrical / Controls Engineer position with an automotive supplier located in the area of Benton Harbor, MI. If you fit the job description and salary range below, send your resume for consideration.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
Performs programming, debugs and troubleshoots electrical control systems. Includes, but not limited to CNC, PLC, motion control, operator interface, temperature control, and facility systems.

DUTIES
Programs CNC, PLC, motion control, operator interface, temperature control, and facility systems.
Integrates CNC, PLC, motion control, operator interface, temperature control , and facility systems
Debug CNC, PLC, motion control, operator interface, temperature control, and facility systems
Assist the Maintenance department
Assist in setting plant electrical and control standards
Team member on various new equipment purchases / installations
Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor
Complies with the following OSHA Safety Standards:
Hazard Communication; Bloodborne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics
When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job
CLIMATE
Works in a seasonally fast paced environment under minimum supervision. Routine responsibilities and duties involve the use of various procedures and the application of clearly prescribed standards of practice, requiring the use of good judgment. Must work with a high degree of accuracy.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The job works in conditions with frequent exposure (34%-66%) to noise, odors, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc. Frequent overnight travel is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
