Farmers Insurance is expanding in Jonesboro and Paragould. We're seeking entrepreneurial-minded individuals who want to lead and build a successful business. Specifically we are looking for candidates with an independent spirit, strong work ethic and desire to succeed; those who are willing to invest their time and energy into creating a profitable and rewarding business for themselves. In this entrepreneurial sales career, you will be responsible for providing insurance and financial service products to help meet your client's needs, whether they are individuals, families, or businesses.

Your responsibilities as a Farmers Insurance Agency Owner include:
o Build new business revenue for your agency by prospecting for new clients
o Develop and maintain client relationships
o Analyze client information
o Educate clients and make product recommendations to keep them protected
o Continually learn new products and services
o Be active in your community
o Uphold the Farmers Insurance customer service standard
o Create your own daily schedule
o Obtain pertinent licenses and keep them current
o Make staff hiring and firing decisions
o Invest some of your capital as you grow your agency
o Pass a background check
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
o No specific Insurance industry experience is necessary, but strong customer service, sales and/or marketing backgrounds is helpful
o Experience in owning or managing a business is a plus
o Goal-oriented, and thrives in a reward-based atmosphere
o Excellent written and verbal communications, as well as positive interpersonal skills
o Optimistic attitude demonstrating positivity, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and exceptional work ethic
o Strong track record of growing revenue and increasing the bottom line
o Experience in prospecting for leads or attending networking events
o Good organizational and time management skills
o College Degree (preferred but not required)
o Responsible - favorable credit history and good driving records
o Trustworthy - no felony criminal history

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
