Food Service Worker
The following major duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Makes the final check of diet trays for completeness, correct food temperatures, and verification that the food items on the tray are appropriate for prescribed diet.
Manages all functions pertaining to tray communication center.
Runs diet activity list and tray tickets.
Prepares tray tickets and patient select menus for the tray line.
Reviews and processes or prepares tray slips for faxed meals.
Runs nourishment labels.
Checks diet changes for early and late trays.
Follows directions in assembling, measuring, weighing, or missing ingredients for basic formulas and other supplemental feedings.
Determines the quantities of ingredients needed to prepare required yields.
Assembles, labels, and arranges completed recipe items in preparation for use by cooks.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
