The Chaplain's duties include:
Providing religious instruction for veterans by various means, such as individual or group discussions, Bible classes, instructional classes, films, and tutoring for courses completed by correspondence.
Conducting personal visits with medical facility veterans in the course of regular routine rounds through the care areas of the medical facility, by special visits, and interviews, or on the basis of requests and referral and visits involve ritual and bedside administration of sacraments, or pastoral counseling.
Conducting pastoral interviews and assessments of newly admitted veterans to ascertain their religious backgrounds, evaluate religious needs, and provide advice regarding the availability of chaplain services, including individual in-depthpastoral ministry.
Serving as spiritual counselor to veterans and their families to sustain the necessary links with the outside community and patients served include:
in-patients and outpatients, the newly admitted, pre- and post-operative patients, the critically ill, traumatic brain injured, the terminally ill, homeless, nursing home, substance abuse, hospice care, ambulatory care, and the families/significant others concerned.
Maintaining limited contact with members of the other staff disciplines, such as providers, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapist, or others involved to exchange of information, or to discuss matters of mutual concern regarding the welfare and treatment of patients.
Using specialized knowledge and abilities, participates as a consultant during the interdisciplinary team meetings as appropriate.
Cooperating with and participates in community organizations and activities in order to assist in integrating the functionsof the medical center into the larger community.
Establishing and maintains limited contacts with the families of patients, with local or home town pastors, with local church groups, and with interested community organizations to further their interest in the problems of patients in order to strengthen patients' ties with them, and to sustain the necessary links with the outside community.
Facilitating for the needs of patients of all faith groups and will locate other staff chaplains or clergy persons from the community to meet specific religious needs that he/she cannot meet.
Documenting accurately in electronic records all contacts with patient's assessment, treatment and ministry per VA policies.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
