Payroll Supervisor - Kingwood, TX - Direct Hire
Frontline Source Group - temporary staffing and direct hire firm - is offering an excellent direct hire opportunity with one of our Kingwood clients.
Responsibilities:
Administer and process payroll for the company
Employee's payroll deductions, benefit changes, short term disability, severance, tuition reimbursement, imputed income, bi-weekly payroll vouchers/checks and check request for employee's deductions.
Provide various bi-weekly financial reports for Corporate Accounting. Prepare monthly and year end reports, including tax reports for TALX.
Assist and verify the year end W2 process for employees.
Prepare Fidelity 401K reports for 5500 preparation.
Prepare audit documentation.
Work closely with V.P. Human Resource Manager for yearend bonus, profit share and gain share reports.
Fidelity and the HAYS system reports and audits.
Prepares, update, process and route documentation required for employment, termination, short term disability, benefits enrollment and verification: pay, job, benefits and status changes
Work on 5500 documentation and 401K audit preparation
Assist with HR recruitment
Process reports Corporate staff. (payroll, benefits, leavers - hires etc.)
Process bi-weekly payroll for the company, including payroll deductions, benefit changes, severance, short term disability, tuition reimbursement, imputed income, bi-weekly payroll vouchers/checks, request for employee deductions
Process bi-weekly financial reports for the Corporate office
Quarterly tax reports for TALX
Ensure payroll systems are properly maintained. Train other HR staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but will accept associates degree
10 years' experience in related field
Knowledge of performing a wide variety of administrative/human resource duties
Excellent communication, organization, management and leadership skills
Strong knowledge of payroll processing
Paylocity experience preferred
