We are recruiting a Geriatrician for a nationally recognized healthcare system in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Geriatrician will be part of the geriatric medicine team and be part of the Geriatric Center.
This 600
bed acute care hospital is an independent academic facility with teaching and clinical responsibilities.
The right candidate is looking for an opportunity to build an ACE model and embedding the geriatric expertise in the unit based clinical leadership, as well as a Trauma co- management program.
ResponsibilitiesInpatient consultations and Outpatient multidisciplinary Senior AssessmentsTeaching Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and OB/GYN residents1:
3 weekend coveragePosition RequirementsCandidates must have a Pennsylvania Medical License.
MD or DOBoard Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible/Board Certified in Geriatric MedicineShould be a team player, flexible, supportive of an academic environment and have a strong work ethicCommunity Service area is 420,000Benefits include:
