This Level 1 Process Automation position, is responsible for the successful installation, upgrade and maintenance of steel mill automation systems.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER LEVEL 1 PROCESS AUTOMATION
DESCRIPTION
This opportunity is with a growing Steel Mill. Responsibilities will focus on the development and implementation of Level 1 process automation systems for the mill.
- Must have experience with PLC based control systems.
- Install and maintain sensors such as: Limit Switches, Hot Metal Detectors, Proximity Switches, Thickness Gauges, Current and Voltage Isolators.
- Work with AC and DC Motors and AC and DC Drives. Must understand PID Loops and flow control
- Understand the Software that brings inputs to PLCs, generate sequencing logic, read analog signals and then send outputs in the form of digital and analog outputs.
QUALIFICATIONS
BSEE and 5
years of industrial automation experience, preferably in a steel mill or other process plant. Must be able to read and change process events through an MMI and Keyboard. AB, GE and ABB are examples of the PLCs utilized. Knowledge of Level 2 Systems will be a plus.

COMPENSATION
Competitive compensation dependent on experience and education.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
