VP of Finance needed! Will Relo!
Reporting into the CFO, the successful candidate will provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, and budget management functions and ensure company accounting procedures and reporting conform to GAAP standards.
Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily:
Direct and coordinate global financial planning and budget management functions
Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance
Oversee FP&A function to monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and to work with departments throughout organization to develop fiveyear business plans
Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department
Manage the preparation of all financial reports and align global finance teams to ensure timely and accurate consolidations
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions and to support other business development initiatives
Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
Serve as primary government liaison relative to financial issues
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong Accounting experience and a CPA
Twelve (12) +years of experience in a mid to senior level finance or accounting position in a commercialized pharmaceutical organization
Ability to build a team in a high growth, fast paced environment
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations for pharmaceutical sales organization
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
Government pricing, Working with outside service provider CIS, ensure timely and accurate calculations and reporting of AMP and Best Price to the various government sponsored programs
Small and large project/program orientation
Ability to set strategy for global finance teams
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem solving capabilities
Proven meeting planning skills
Ability to work effectively across a matrix organization
Ability to work independently and prioritize with minimal daily instruction
Ability to think strategically in order to improve current processes.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
