Job Description:
Technical Writer, Contract Position 3 months, with potential to extend duration.
Seeking Contract Technical Writer to produce formal documentation for medical product. Our ideal candidate is comfortable gathering information through independent, hands-on discovery, can assimilate information quickly, and produce clear documentation.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with software engineers on technical details
Creating and modifying technical documentation
Creating and reviewing requirements document
Explain technical ideas in simple language
Study product specifications, implementation and mockups
Gather information on subject
Prepare documents according to specifications
Will work in MS Word, Visio, DOORs and other typical office applications.
Qualifications:
2
years technical writing experience
4 years College Degree preferably in Technical/Professional Communication, English, Journalism, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience with MS Word, Visio, DOORs and other typical office applications
Experience working with Software development technical teams
Experience working with detailed requirements
Experience working in a formal environment
Must be a detail oriented individual
Must have a technical background
Must be able to focus on assigned tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
Experience with commercial or medical software a plus
Experience with formal tracking of requirements a plus
Must be able to work in a group environment
Must have excellent communication skills
Offsite/remote work not available, must work at on siteEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
